Tara is the CEO and Medical Director of Monarch Healthcare Solutions. She offers a diverse background in healthcare and an expertise focusing on gut health and healing the gut-brain axis as well as comprehensive hormone management to optimize health throughout the stages of aging. Although Tara is Board Certified in Family Medicine, with the bulk of her practice experience focused in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and BHRT, she has extensive training in broad spectrum evidence-based approach to disease management which allows her to merge all avenues of healthcare into a comprehensive healthcare plan that is intentional, specific and targeted at healing the root cause of disease. Tara is a graduate of California Baptist University in Southern California and continues to work with patients in the Southern California area, supporting them on their journey toward optimizing health, while providing quality healthcare to her patients in Central Washington and soon in Idaho and Utah. Tara is an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner who also holds licensure in Public Health that completed Doctoral work with a clinical focus on hypertension management and reversal through a Lifestyle Medicine approach at California Baptist University. Tara has extensive training in migraine management having completed advanced practice training in migraine therapy through Mayo Clinic. She developed comprehensive migraine management program at Confluence Health, where she served for several years as the Lead Clinical Provider for acute migraine treatment/management in the Migraine Clinic.  Tara is certified in plant-based nutrition receiving this training through Cornell University. Tara uses a multidisciplinary approach for each individual patient, creating treatment plans  an combining an Allopathic, Integrative, Functional, Lifestyle and Preventive Medicine approach as needed to fit an individuals healthcare needs. Tara practices with unwavering commitment to her patients, partnering with them on their journey toward optimizing health while focusing on healing the root cause of chronic disease. Tara created Monarch Healthcare with the mission and vision of transforming healthcare for every patient and making this type of healthcare accessible.
